I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am Colleen’s mom, and we couldn’t be there as we live in Florida. But seeing the video and all of the pictures were so wonderful. She has been a blessing for all these many years, and to see her being so blessed by so many filled me with so much joy.
Thank you again.

What a fun-looking event! Is this an annual event? It looks well planned, and well attended.
I probably wouldn’t know anybody there, but we are all family in Christ, right?

Oh Laurie, what an absolute beautiful evening! Your family was truly walking in the Lord’s commandment to bear one another’s burdens, as well as all of those in attendance representing the loving body of Christ. Thank you for sharing all of this with us, even if you did make us wait for an outrageous amount of time!!!!
We are sorry we missed it this year. The Moellers are daily in our prayers, and, Lord willing, will be there next year to share in the joy!
Love in Christ,
Christine

Thats really a great thing and it looks like a lot of fun! I´ve never seen something like that here in Germany!
Here in Germany the state wants to take care of all aspects of life which has only led to people not relying on and caring for each other anymore.
Laurie, thanks for the nice pictures and maybe we´ll take part in an auction one day, too???
Blessings,
Kathleen

Good morning:
Thanks for contributing this post to this week’s Carnival of Family life!
Looks like fun! Very pretty costumes on the 2 little girls in the top picture, by the way.
Be sure to stop by the Carnival tomorrow and check out the other wonderful entries!

[…] Many homeschoolers extend themselves to others in the community. One example is within the homeschool community. This is not the first time that the Bluedorn family has pulled a Pie Auction Barn Dance Fund Raiser together for others. When ICHE’s Alliant Magazine editor Colleen Moeller was suffering from cancer, the generosity of Bluedorns and many others warmed her heart with a Barn Dance/Pie Auction. […]
