I used to love this book! I had it, but I can't find it any more. I kick myself now because I think I threw it out; and with my newspaper subscription, I have more than enough material to work with.

Perhaps, if they won't put it back in print, someone can make an e-book or something so everyone can enjoy the crafts from this book?

My mom was crocheting plastic grocery bags a few years ago into bags...they make the perfect swim bag! It's always fun to me to see the things that can be made from items like this. ;o)

Hugs,

How interesting! I guess newspaper was a readily-available crafting material that should be revisted. I used to have a pattern for making a play fort out of newspaper. I'll have to dig it out.

That's great!
Is this an example of the 70's earth-conscious recycled material aesthetic? Boy, the things people would come up with and seriously try to believe were beautiful enough to enhance the home!
